Piadipizza: quick Pizza Piadina recipe - Are you in the mood for Pizza? You only need three ingredients to satisfy your craving: Piadina, Tomato sauce and Mozzarella. Piadipizza is a delicious, quick idea for dinner to fill the craving for Pizza! Piadipizza is not a pizza nor a piadina, but a dish that combines both: a tasty dish ready in 10 minutes. In Rimini, it is also quite popular among appetizers for a quick but still delicious "aperitivo". A simple dinner saving easy to prepare both in the oven or in the pan. Absolutely, an original way to eat piadina: a perfect recipe when you have little time to cook.

 Ingredients Quantity
Fresco Piada Piadina 4
Tomato Sauce  11 oz.
Mozzarella 14 oz.
Salt q.s.
Origan q.s.
Basil q.s

 

STEP 1

Turn on the static oven to 200°C. Put the Tomato sauce in a bowl, then add salt and oregano, just like for Pizza. Taste to check if the tomato sauce is just right with salt. Cut the Mozzarella into cubes or thin slices.

STEP 2

On each Piadina, put a few spoonfuls of tomato sauce, leaving the outer edge free. Add the sliced Mozzarella as well.

You can add basil and oregano to it if you wish.

STEP 3

Once the oven has reached temperature, bake the Piadipizza for about 10 minutes until the mozzarella cheese is completely melted.

In addition to the baked piadina, you can also make Piadipizza in a pan, especially in summer when it's hot! Stuff it as above and put the piadina in the pan with the lid on, at moderate heat, for approx. 8 minutes.

Your Piadipizza is ready to be served and enjoyed piping hot.
