If you are looking for a fun, scrumptious lunch or dinner ideas with friends or family, nothing is better than a piadina! But also if you are looking for a brand new kind of breakfast, a snack or a dessert, you can count on it!
Piadina is originally from the Emilia Romagna region, but is now pretty popular all over Italy. If you haven't had piadina before, it's time to try it!
This is the most loved bread by Italians, and can be filled with all kinds of ingredients. You just have to let your imagination go wild here.
Ready, set, go! Heat piadina in a pan, one minute per side, fill it with your favorite ingredients, warm it again for a few seconds and then... fold and love it. So gorgeous!
Want to start big? Try the famous recipe from the Dolce Vita era, the most classic and appreciated by Italians: two couple of slices of Parma ham, a nice thick layer of creamy and delicate stracchino, and a handful of arugula.
If you've never tried stracchino before, what are you waiting for?!? Stracchino is a soft, creamy cow's milk cheese, has a tart, fruity flavor and a pleasent smell. It’s meant to be eaten when it's fresh...Oh so good, especially when paired with salty Italian prosciutto and wrapped inside this warm and soft piadina bread... pure heaven!
